Add New Plan

Show Subscriptions on Your Website
After creating the Subscription Plan, the page will update to the Edit Subscription view. Stay in the Online Content section on the Edit Subscription page. Follow these steps to display subscriptions on your e-commerce website, whether you have one plan or multiples:
Show One Plan
If you only have one plan you want to show customers, here is what to do:
- In the Online Content section, click on Preview on Website.

- Copy the URL path that follows after your store's website URL, but exclude /preview. For example, in the image below, that path is /customers/plan/286/ (Do not copy this example path, as yours will be different).

- Go to Content > Navigation Banners. This is where you can add a clickable banner on the top of your website that will lead to your memberships/subscriptions page.

- Enter the name you want to give the page under the Display Name column. For example, in the example below, it is named Memberships.

- Paste the URL path you copied earlier under the Path column, as shown in the image above.
- Enter the number for the Display Order under the respective column. This determines where in the order (starting from the left-hand side, 1 being the leftmost) this banner will appear. You can see an example of this in the section below named Show Multiple Plans.
- Select from the drop-list if the banner will show a Category Dropdown, Custom Dropdown, or Not a Dropdown. Since there is only one membership page, select Not a Dropdown.
- If you want to remove the banner, click on the Trash Can Icon to the right of the banner entry.
- Click on Save to create your new navigation banner and update your website.
Show Multiple Plans
If you have more than one plan and would like to show a list the customer can choose from, follow these steps:
-
Go to Content > Navigation Banners.

- Enter the name you want to give the page under the Display Name column. For example, in the image below, it is named Memberships.

- Enter /customers/plan/ under the Path column.
- Enter the number for the Display Order under the respective column. This determines where in the order (starting from the left-hand side, 1 being the leftmost) this banner will appear.
- Select from the drop-list if the banner will show a Category Dropdown, Custom Dropdown, or Not a Dropdown. Since there is only one membership page that will show multiple plans, select Not a Dropdown.
- Click Save to save the banner and update your website.
Now, when the customer clicks on the Memberships banner on the website, they will see a list of Plans.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I cancel a customer's subscription?
A: Go to Memberships > Subscriptions > Click on Subscription ID > Cancel. Click here to learn more about editing subscriptions.
Q: Can I show multiple subscription plans, or only one at a time?
A: Both work. Follow the Show One Plan steps for a single plan, or the Show Multiple Plans steps to let customers pick from a list.
Q: What's the difference between a Category Discount and a Brand Discount?
A: A Category Discount applies to an entire product category, while a Brand Discount applies to a specific brand's products. You can add either one, both, or several to the same plan.
Q: Can I give subscribers a free product instead of a discount?
A: Yes. In the What's Included section, use Scan Items or Search Products to add the product, then set a Quantity or check Unlimited.
Q: Do I need to finish the whole form before creating a plan?
A: No, but you do need to click Create before you can preview the plan or add its online content — the next steps only unlock after the plan exists.
Q: Can a plan be sold both in-store and online?
A: Yes. In the Plan Basics section, set Where will plan be used? to include both options.
Q: I have a question, but I can't find my answer here. How do I get more assistance?
A: You can ask any question at the number listed here. Contact our support team at (323) 370-0738 for the U.S. and (888) 370-2363 for Canada.
